What's Your PercentileWhere you stand.

What’s your child’s height percentile?

For parents and caregivers: enter your child’s sex, age, and height from a checkup to see where the height falls on the CDC growth charts. The calculation runs in your browser. The measurement stays there unless you share the result link, which contains it.

FAQ

Who is this page for?

Parents and caregivers who want to understand a height measurement from a checkup. The page is not directed to children. It collects nothing and shows no personalized content.

Whose growth curves are these?

The CDC 2000 growth charts, the stature-for-age curves pediatricians plot at checkups. They cover ages 2 through 20, and the calculator uses the CDC’s published LMS parameters exactly.

Is a low or high percentile a problem?

Not by itself. A percentile shows where one measurement falls among children of the same age and sex, and healthy children grow all along the curve. If you have questions about your child’s growth, ask your pediatrician.

Does the calculator cover adult height?

No. The CDC growth charts end at 20, so the calculator does too.
